FAQs

Q: Do I need any equipment?

The only equipment you need is a pair of grip socks! We do sell some in the studio, however, you do not need to purchase from us. You can get grip socks from many different retailers, including Amazon, for your convenience.

Q: How long are classes?

Classes are 50 minutes long. This includes a short warm-up and a cool/down stretch. We encourage all members to stay for the duration of the class to get the full experience and not to disrupt other members.

Q: What class is a good intro/beginner class?

If you have never been on a Pilates Reformer before, we highly encourage you to attend our 30 Minute Intro sessions. This class runs every Wednesday + Saturday from 1:00-1:30pm and gives you an in-depth rundown on the machine and takes you through foundational exercises to prepare you for your first full class. After that, our West Reformer 1 class is a great place to start! This class will be slower-paced, getting you familiar with the machine, cues, props, and the foundations of reformer pilates.

Q: What is your late entry policy?

Members will not be permitted into class if they show up 10 minutes or more late for class. This is due to safety reasons.

Q: Is Reformer Pilates pregnancy-friendly?

Yes, Reformer Pilates can be a safe and supportive form of exercise during pregnancy when practiced with appropriate modifications. We ask that all pregnant clients inform their instructor before class so we can tailor movements, cueing, and positioning as needed to support comfort and safety throughout each stage of pregnancy.

Please note that our Power classes are not recommended during pregnancy, as they are higher intensity and not designed with prenatal modifications in mind.

As with any form of exercise during pregnancy, we strongly recommend that you are cleared by your medical professional before continuing or beginning Reformer Pilates. Our instructors are happy to provide options and modifications, but your individual health and medical guidance should always come first.

Q: What are the late-cancel, no-show, and membership-pause policies?

Please see our Cancellations Policies page here.
